A Community of the Spirit
The church is a community of the Holy Spirit. We are not just looking for unpredictable church meetings, charismatic leaders, individual experiences or miraculous moments (all of these things are precious and highly valued!), we are looking for a church family amongst whom God the Holy Spirit dwells. We long to be a people who are governed by the voice of God. We hope to be a new society where everyone’s contribution is treasured, where the presence of God is tangible, where the leading of the Spirit is clear.
In this teaching series, then, we are focusing on two things; The Holy Spirit – who is He, how does He work in our lives? And the church community – what does it mean to be “charismatic,” how can we experience more of His presence?
