FAQ's
I would like to come but don't have any camping equipment. Please ask around to see if you can borrow equipment from friends, but if not, contact the church office and we will see how we can help.
Are there electrical hook-up pitches? Only for those who need electricity for medical or mobility needs. Please contact the church office if this is the case.
Is there somewhere I can re-freeze my ice packs? Yes, there will be a freezer and a collection/drop-off system for ice packs.
Can I camp near my friends? Please indicate on the booking form if there are people you'd like to camp near. The site will be divided into sections and you can pitch alongside friends within that space.
How do I book into a tent with friends? Please book your own space and indicate on the booking form who else you will be sharing with.
Is there disabled access on the site? Please contact the office if you require disabled access/have specific needs that need accommodating.
Can I bring my pet? Unfortunately not.
Can I get a lift to the site with someone else? Please try to arrange a lift with someone you know is going. Nearer the date, if you still do not have transport, contact the office.
Can I get to the site on public transport? Brockenhurst station is the closest train station. From Reading, you need to change at Winchester or Basingstoke. There are hourly buses from the train station to the showground.
Can I get food on the site? There is nowhere to purchase food onsite. Brockenhurst - 6 minute drive/35 minute walk - is the closest town and has a range of small shops such as Co-op and Premier, as well as takeaway restaurants.
Is there somewhere to charge my phone? USB charging points are available to use in lockers in the toilet block. Please note that the phone signal is poor on the camp site.
Why have you asked me about a serving area on the booking form? It will take a team to make the weekend run. Many hands make light work! There are multiple areas detailed on the booking form that you could help with over the weekend. You will be contacted nearer the date regarding how much time you are able to give to a team recognising that different people have different availability.
Will there still be a church meeting at JMA on the Sunday? No.
Will any of the meetings be recorded or live streamed? We are unable to record or live stream the meetings.
